Printable Peace Sign Banner: Easy activity alert! Got a few minutes left before the end of the day? Here is an easy and quick classroom activity for kids. With this Printable Peace Sign Banner, you can select just one or as many as you need for your for your students to decorate.
Use markers, crayons or paint and allow students to be creative with their artwork – the Peace Sign can be decorated in a variety of ways. Once complete, children can take the banner home or decorate the classroom to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Putting it Together
- Scissors
- Yarn, ribbon or string for displaying the banner
- Hole punch
- White or colored printer paper
- Markers, paint or crayons for decorating the banner

You’ll just need to have the basics on hand. Paper for printing, either white or any color of paper will work. Depending on how you want to display the banner, you might need scissors, a hole punch and some sort of ribbon, yarn or twine. Another option would be to use tape or thumb tacks to attach to a cork board.

Print out the Peace Sign Banner (PDF document). One banner prints per page. For this example, I used white printer paper. Feel free to print additional pages as needed.
Have children cut out the banner along the rectangle outer dark line. The Peace Sign can be colored in, designed with a pattern or just a random design.
