Kids will LOVE this oh, so very easy Nacho Dip recipe. Use a mild or spicy ready-made salsa with condensed cheddar cheese soup. That’s it! Just two ingredients. Use for a festive celebration (hint: Cinco de Mayo) or make it into a favorite recipe (see printable cards below.)
This snack/appetizer is easy to put together for a birthday party, sleepover or just as an afternoon snack with friends. There is even an option to make it healthy. Instead of tortilla chips, substitute carrot sticks, broccoli crowns and other chopped vegetables.
Ingredients for Easy Nacho Dip
- 1 Can Condensed Cheddar Cheese Soup (for a spicier version use Campbell Fiesta Nacho Cheese Soup)
- 1/3 Cup Chunky Salsa (mild or medium should do it)
- Tortilla Chips, Pretzels or chopped vegetables
Putting It All Together
- Combine the soup and salsa in a microwave safe bowl. Stir to mix.
- Microwave the mixture for 1 minute, stir then microwave an additional 30 seconds.
- Place tortilla chips, pretzels and/or veggies on a platter reserving a spot in the center for the dip.
- Carefully (using potholders) remove the dip from the microwave and place in the center of the platter.
- Stir the dip one more time before serving.
- Enjoy!
