Wreath Gift Bag

Only pennies to make, this gift bag is great for younger children. Easy classroom project.. Holiday Snowman Thumbprint gift tags - more at ActivitiesForKids.com

This is one of the easiest and least expensive holiday crafts that you can do with a group. White lunch bags work the best, but if you can’t find them, brown bags work just as well. Use scraps of tissue paper for the wreath. Other options would be pieces of green ribbon, finger paints, construction paper, green glitter. This easy-to-create holiday gift bag is simple enough for younger children to make. Good to use for presents for that children make at school. Also shown in the photo above is the printable Snowman Gift Tags.
MATERIALS:

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Trace two of the circles from the round frame template onto the paper bag, about 3″ down from the open end.
  2. Cut or tear the green tissue paper into small sections.
  3. Lightly dab on dots of glue, or use a brush and diluted glue within the two circles.
  4. Randomly attach the green tissue paper to the glue to form a wreath.
  5. Fold the top of the bag and punch two holes right above the wreath. This will go through all the layers of the bag.
  6. Thread the red ribbon through the holes and tie a bow in the front right above the wreath.
