Memory – For ages 6 and up
A fun group game where children can test their memory skills. Use items that match the theme of the party.
- General Birthday Theme – candle, bow, ribbon, balloon, present, candy…
- Summer Themed Party – sunglasses, lotion, goggles, seashell…
- Princess Party – comb, pearls, headband, jewelry box, glitter pen…
Directions:
Give each child a piece of paper and a pencil. Bring out a large tray that is covered with a towel. The tray should contain around 12 – 20 items on it. Once everyone is situated, remove the cover and let the children view the items on the tray for 1 minute. During this time, they can not write on the paper. Take the tray away and give the children 5 minutes to write down as many items from the tray that they can remember. Use items that children are familiar with and can spell.
