Party Games for Kids

This game works best outside where there is room to run and move around.

Directions: Have players stand in a straight line anywhere from 20 to 50 feet from the finish line. One child or an adult stands at the finish line, turns his back and says “green light”, counts to ten, and says “red light” and then turns around. Meanwhile, while the light is green, the players need to advance as far as possible from the starting line towards the finish line. Whomever is seen still moving by the announcer after the “red light” is called must return to the starting line. The first person to pass the finish line wins.
