What You Will Need for the Placemat
- Scissors
- Glue – optional
- Crayons or markers
- Colored printer paper – or white will work

Start by printing out the templates for left side, right side and Happy Thanksgiving Turkey design center. The left and right sides of the placemat can be printed on a fall color of construction paper. The center circle should be printed on white printer paper.
You can either cut or overlap the left and right sides of the placemat so that the circle is joined in the center. Tape or glue these two papers together.
Children can cut out the Happy Thanksgiving circle that will be used as a coloring page for the decorative center. It is optional to tape or glue the turkey image over the circle section for the plate on the placemat. Children may want to remove the circle before putting their Thanksgiving meal on top of it.
