What You Will Need

  • Hole Punch
  • Crayons or markers
  • White paper or pastel colored paper. Pastel colored card stock paper works best for the first and last pages of the coupon book. Use white paper for the coupon pages inside the book.
  • Fastener for the book – ideas are ribbon, yarn (shown here), or curling ribbon, yarn and gold brads.

Creating the Father’s Day Coupon Book

  1. Start with the interactive page for the Printable Coupon Books.
  2. Simply follow the instructions on this page by selecting a Father’s Day image. There are options for full color images or an outline that can be colored in by the child. Next, select a color for the text font and one for the coupon border.  Three pages of coupons print per page, so enter in what you would like for the coupons to say on the sets of blank lines provided.
  3. Select the print option from your browser. You should be able to preview the page before printing it. If anything is incorrect, simply press go back to the previous page and make your corrections.
  4. Print as many pages as you choose for each coupon book, by simply pressing the back button from your browser and enter in different text for another three pages.
  5. To create a cover page, you can enter in something like ‘For Someone Special’, ‘Happy Father’s Day’, ‘ I Love You’. Either use card-stock paper for the front and back cover or perhaps a pastel printer paper for a more decorative look.
  6. Finally, cut the pages apart and reassemble them to create the coupon book. Punch holes where indicated and attach with yarn, a ribbon, or paper brads. Be creative and Enjoy!

Older children may want to write in their own coupons. To create blank lines, just use the underscore key or dashes.
