As many of you may have noticed, I’ve taken a break from posting crafts and activities on ActivitiesForKids.com. Other projects, along with so many changes going on in our world right now have encouraged me to step back and evaluate what is important and meaningful.
First off, I am a true believer in the power of prayer. God has blessed me abundantly. So then, why would I need a prayer to St. Jude, patron saint of lost causes and desperate situations? Well, sometimes things can become a little overwhelming and sometimes we just pray for others.
Today I am going to share a special novena with you. This was given to me by my mother many years ago and miraculously, I just came across it at time when I was in need. There was also a handwritten note from my mom with the novena. (Mom passed 10 years ago at the age of 95).
“Dear Terry,
This is an extra copy I had. It is a real good novena prayer. I use it all the time and it works. I say the prayer 9 times all at once. Make Chad and Alex a copy.
Love, Mom”
I am thankful that my prayers have been heard and now I would like to share this powerful novena with others. This novena to St. Jude is to be prayed 9 times a day for 9 days. The card from my mom says that ‘Publication must be promised.’ When I looked a little further into the publication part, I came across an article, Don’t Mess with St. Jude by Richard Poe. Reading the article and comments from others, I knew that I wasn’t alone in my prayers and devotion.
Feel free to print as many copies of this Printable Novena to St. Jude as you like. Two prayers print per page – one for you and one to share. May God bless and keep us safe.
