Add a Mini Easter Basket for each member of the family. An easy way to decorate the table for Easter morning. This inexpensive Easter craft is a cute way to make up mini Easter baskets for a large group. Fill with Easter grass and candies or treats.
MATERIALS:
- 2 Solo Brand 9 oz clear plastic cups
- Brown Pipe cleaner
- Scissors
- Easter grass
- White printer paper
- Printout for the Easter Basket cup insert
- Candy and treats to include in the cups
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Print out the Easter Basket cup insert on the white printer paper and cut it out. NOTE: When printing a PDF document, be sure to print at ‘Actual Size.’
- Place the cut out paper into one of the clear Solo cups with the pattern facing out so the design shows through the cup.
- Insert a second Solo cup into the first so that the paper is in between the two cups.
- Bend the brown pipe cleaner to form the basket handle and insert in-between the two cups. This can also be glued into place.
- Fill the cup with Easter grass and top with Jelly Beans and other goodies.
SUGGESTIONS:
- To make the cups more secure, put a dot of glue (glue gun works best) into the bottom of the first cup so that the cups stay together.
