I’ve always enjoyed doing word search puzzles. Growing up it was standard to use a pencil and circle the found words. You can find the words be displayed vertically, horizontally and even diagonally. The words can also be displayed backwards, which can be the challenging part for younger children. My preference now is to use a yellow highlighter pen to identify the words.
