Do you need a quick printable activities for Mother’s Day? Then this one page Folded Mother’s Day Card is just what you need. Simple and cute for the little one’s to make, and what a precious keepsake for mom!

The outside of the card spells MOM with a cut-out O. Then open the card for a flower that children can color. The folded card measures 4 ½” by 3 ¼” and can easily fit into a standard sized envelope.

Easy Folded Mother’s Day Card

All you will need to start with is some printer paper. White printer paper is fine, but pastel paper also works really well. Select and then print the Folded Mothers Day Card printable PDF.

With scissors, cut the rectangle apart along the outer edge. Next, fold the rectangle horizontally then fold again on the two vertical lines (see example). This will give the card double thickness.

Cut out the center of the ‘O’ through the two pieces of folded paper. Younger children may need a little assistance with this step. The cut out O will allow the center of the flower to be visible from the front of the folded card.

Now it’s time to bring out the markers, crayons or colored pencils to color in the words as well as the inside flower. For a more creative touch, use a glitter glue pen or some small sequins.
