A journal is a wonderful way to keep a record of thoughts and ideas. That’s why I came up with this child’s prayer journal. If a child is old enough to describe their thoughts then they are old enough to journal. It doesn’t need to start with words, pictures and images are also important.
Easy enough to put together for elementary aged children. This DIY Child’s Prayer Journal measures 4″ x 4 1/4″. One sheet of standard paper can be cut to make 4 pages for the prayer journal – so be sure to print out several pages to encourage daily journaling. Printable pages for the journal include: Prayers for Others, Prayers for Myself, Today’s Bible Verse and Thing’s I’m Thankful For.
