Gingerbread Family

This cute craft is a fun way for children to make a Gingerbread Family or gingerbread friends by adding a little imagination and creativity for each unique person.  Did you know that Queen Elizabeth I of England is thought to be the first to come up with the idea of creating cookies to resemble the dignitaries visiting her court

Gingerbread Family of Gingerbread Men (Women and Children ;)

Have fun with this free, printable gingerbread man pattern. This craft is easy enough to put together for a classroom decoration or to take home. Have children decorate a gingerbread person as themselves or they can create one for each member of their family. Use sequins, beads, ribbon or whatever else you have on hand. By putting a small cut where indicated on the hands, the family or friends can be attached to create a decorative garland.

You can also add a Gingerbread Ugly Sweater.
