How to Play Money Sudoku
- Print the Kid’s Money Sudoku Puzzle. Two different puzzles will print per page.
- Each row, column, and section of the grid must contain unique money values without repeats. The object is to not repeat the same coin in each row, column or 4 x 4 square.
- Use a penny, nickel, dime or quarter to fill in the empty squares on the game. Each row, column and square should have only one of each coin.
- Use logic and simple math to determine where each coin value belongs.
- Double-check your work to ensure all amounts are correctly placed.
Use coins for this easy Sudoku game for kids. Unlike traditional sudoku, this is an easier version for children. The printable game uses a four by four square instead of a nine by nine square. By replacing the numbers with coins, children can familiarize themselves with money, noting the different sizes and values while still learning sudoku basic skills.
In addition to the sudoku printout, you will need the following coins: 2 pennies, 2 nickels, 2 dimes and 2 quarters. Another option would be to print out 2 pages and cut apart the paper ‘coins’ to use in place of the real coins.
