Children can select the state of their choice and do research to answer the ten questions about that state. The State Facts worksheet includes questions that are easy to find in text books or on-line. The State Emblems and Symbols worksheet includes ten questions about symbols that are designated for the state. These worksheets can be used together as a lesson plan or individually. Children can also work as a group on just on state.
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Select the print out for State Facts Worksheet. Print as many as needed for the classroom.
  2. Select the State Emblems and Symbols Worksheet and print as many copies as needed.
  3. Children can do research on the state to find the answers for the worksheets.
