Snack Mix

Snack Mix
Prep time
Total time
Set out several bowls with different snack items. Children can learn about measuring as they select ¼ - ½ cup servings of their favorite snacks to mix together in a baggie. Easy activity to do at a party.
Recipe type: Snacks
Serves: 2-8
  • Raisins
  • Small crackers
  • M&M's
  • Pretzels
  • Chex cereal
  • Marshmallows
  1. Have 6-8 bowls of several different types of snacks.
  2. Provide each child with a baggie or other storage container.
  3. Let the child decide how many different snacks they want to mix together.
  4. The outcome should total 1 cup. So if the child selects 3 snacks to mix together, they would use the ⅓ measuring cup, 4 different snacks would use the ¼ measuring cup, and so on.
