Activities for Kids - Ice Cream Cake Recipe

Spring Chill Cake (Ice cream cake)

1 box angel food cake mix
1 pt. frozen strawberries (thawed)
½ gallon vanilla ice cream
1 tub of cool whip
Red Food coloring (optional)

Make cake according to box directions.
Crumble cake up with hands; Mash cake up into softened ice cream.
Stir in strawberries.
Pour into tube pan; freeze.
Remove from pan. Frost with cool whip tinted with a few drops of red food coloring.
