Printable Candy Cane Craft

An easy classroom activity that always seems to turn out nice. Print out the candy cane template in either red or white printer paper and use scraps of ribbon to decorate. Use a heavier card-stock paper and the candy canes can be used as a Christmas Tree ornament. Use the smaller size printout (6 candy canes per page) for holiday decorations to use around the home.
MATERIALS:
  • White or red printer paper.
  • Craft glue
  • Scissors
  • Holiday ribbons or other items to decorate the candy canes with
  • Printable small Candy Canes (6 per page) or large Candy Canes (3 per page)
INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Print out either the small Candy Canes (6 per page) or large Candy Canes (3 per page) on white or red printer paper. To make the candy canes more durable, use card-stock paper.
  • Cut the candy canes apart to pass out to the children, but do not cut out on the dark outline. It is easier to add the ribbons and decorations before completely cutting out the candy cane.
  • Once decorated and the glue has dried, cut the candy canes out.

An easy holiday craft for kids of all ages. Two sizes of candy cane printables are available. Print, decorate and cut out. Instructions and printable at ActivitiesForKids.com.
