Legend of the Candy Cane

Free Printable Legend of the Candy Cane Story at ActivitiesForKids. #ChristmasStory

Teach your children about Jesus with the Legend of the Candy Cane poem. Candy canes are a symbol of Christmas and this printable card is a cute way to share the story with others. Print off several for you classroom or bible study group.

There are two different cards to print. The folding card allows you to write a holiday greeting inside a 5 1/4″ x 6″ card. The open card prints 2 poems per page and the candy cane can be attached on the same page as the poem (see example above).

  1. Select the free printable card of your choice from above.
  2. Cut the card out from the printer paper or card stock paper.
  3. Measure where you would like to have the candy can on the card.
  4. With either the hole punch or scissors, cut two spots for threading the ribbon through the card so that it can tie in the front and hold the candy cane in place.
