1/2 cup
Elmer's white glue
1/3 cup warm water
food coloring |

teaspoon Borax
1/3 cup warm water
zip lock baggie |
- Mix together glue 1/3 cup warm
water and food coloring (glue solution ) in
a small bowl.
- In a medium zip lock baggie, mix
Borax and 1/3 cup warm water.(Borax solution)
- Pour glue solution into baggie
(Borax solution), gently knead (squash) together.

- Pour 1/4 cup salt into a baggie.
- Add 5 drops (more or less
depending on shade you want) of food coloring to
the salt.
- Seal the baggie and gently shake
until the food coloring is evenly distributed
throughout the salt.
When using for sand art crafts -
snip a very small hole in one of the corners of the
baggie and slowly let the salt out for your project.

- Pour 1/4 cup alcohol into a baggie.
- Add 10 drops (more or less
depending on shade you want) of food coloring to
the alcohol.
- Add 1/2 cup pasta to the alcohol.
- Seal the baggie and allow the
pasta to absorb the color for about 5 - 10 minutes.
Turn the bag every couple minutes to evenly coat
the pasta.
- With a slotted spoon, scoop the
pasta out of the baggie and allow to dry on a
brown paper bag for about 1 hour.
Rigatoni makes good beads for
necklaces.

- Combine the starch and glue in
the baggie.
- Add food coloring.
- Seal the baggie and squish.

1 Tablespoon Borax
1 cup water

- Mix the Borax with 1
cup of water.
- In the plastic cup, stir together
1 oz.glue with 1 oz. water with the wooden stick.
- Mix 1 oz. of the borax solution
into the plastic cup.
- Add 1 drop of food coloring and
mix as well as you can.
- Knead with your hands - store in
plastic bags.
