  • Circus Wagon Invitations
Free invitations that you can customize with you child’s birthday information.  Several designs to choose from including a Circus themed invitation.
  • Thank you cards
Circus theme, two options to choose from – fill in the blank or blank lines.
  • Napkin Rings
Print each guest’s name with a birthday greeting.

Food, Drink and Dessert:

  • Hotdog Rollups
  • Corndogs
  • Individual juice bags/boxes
  • Individual bags of chips
  • Cupcakes – individual cupcakes always work well for outside parties.  Set up a cupcake decorating booth and allow the children to decorate their own cupcakes.

Circus Party Decorations:

  • Circus Theme Birthday Package contains all the paper products and decorations needed for a circus party.
  • Happy Birthday Banner – Print on colored paper to match the party theme or decorate with stickers.
  • Attach a colorful helium balloon to each child’s chair – write their names on it with permanent marker.
  • Decorate the backyard with the following booths.

Activities for a Circus Party:

  • Clothes Pin Drop
Classic game where children take turns dropping a clothes pin into a jar or container.
  • Can Toss
Collect six plastic or cardboard,  like sized containers (pingles, oatmeal …).  Decorate or wrap in colorful paper then stack three on the bottom, two in the center and one on top.  Have children take turns trying to knock down the pyramid of containers.  Each child should get 2 try’s.
  • Egg Pond
Fill a large deep baking dish or a small child’s pool with water.  Using  about 15 plastic Easter eggs, write the numbers 1, 2 or 3 inside each egg with permanent marker.  Close the eggs and float in the water.  When a child selects an egg, they get a number of tickets equal to the number inside the egg.
  • Lollypop Tree
Use a large styrofoam cone or block, and about 25 lollypops.  Mark the end of the stick on about 15 of the lollypops.  If a child selects a lollypop with a marked end they receive a ticket (and the lollypop)  option:  use different color markings to signify 1, 2 or 3 tickets.
  • Carnival mask
Use the outline to cut masks out of fun foam.  Have the children decorate with feathers, glitter, puff paint.  When finished attach elastic string.
  • Jelly Bean Guess
Who ever guesses a number closest to the actual number takes the jar of Jellly Beans home.
  • Face painting & Tattoo booth
Face painting supplies can be purchased at JoAnn Fabrics.  Inexpensive Circus Tattoos are available at Birthday in a Box.
  • Basketball throw
If you already have a basketball hoop set up – use it for the party.
  • Popcorn Stand
Use plastic cups so each child can scoop popcorn out of the bowl by themselves.
  • Ice Cream Cone Dip
Set out several bowls with colored sprinkles, chocolate sprinkles, fruit loops so that children can add toppings to their ice cream cup or cone.  Note: This could also be used for decorating cupcakes.
  • Ticket Redemption Center
This will be the highlight of the party if you are using tickets for winners at the different game booths.  Allow the children enough time to select prizes at the end of the party.  This will serve as their goody bag.

Goodie Bags:

  • Individual boxes of animal crackers – jump ropes, tattoos, candy , silly straws, silly puddy, small decks of cards (old maid, go fish), jacks, paper air planes, small stuffed animals, change purses…  any toys that you would normally find at a fair.
  • Swirl Lollipop - Great Price!  12 pack for $4.99
