Activities
|
- Movies - Lost
in Space.
- How many stars? - Fill a small glass jar
with a lid full of bright marbles or jelly beans. Have each child
guess how many marbles are in the jar, the winner takes
the jar home.
- Moon Rock Hunt I -
Before the party, hide tinfoil balls throughout the party
area, the
astronaut who finds the most is the winner. Another
version would be to wrap a small treat inside each tinfoil
ball, and that would be their prize.
- Moon Rock Hunt II
- Spray paint small
rocks (2-4 inches across) with silver spray paint. Before
the party, hide the moon rocks throughout the party
area. The child who finds the most rocks wins
a prize.
- Alien
Invasion - Divide the children into two
teams. Place the two teams about 10-15 feet
apart. Give each team about 20 'Alien Spaceships'
(these could be crumpled paper, newspaper or tinfoil
balls) Within a 5 minute time period each team needs
to try to get as many aliens as possible to the other
team's side, this would include their original 20, along
with any that the other team throws. The team with
the fewest alien spaceships is the winner.
- Make an Alien
balloon sculpture for each guest.
- Pluto
Putty - Use the recipe for silly putty.
- Universe
in a Jar
- Make a mini water
globe.
- Moon Walk - this
is a great theme for incorporating a rented moonwalk
